Update Prior Auth Turnaround Time to 7 Days starting June 1, 2026
In preparation to meet the National Committee Quality Assurance (NCQA) Standard of 7 calendar day Turnaround Time (TAT) for standard/routine requests, the Jiva portal will be modified to reflect due dates 7 calendar days from date of submission beginning June 1, 2026.
Episodes submitted prior to this date will continue to show the due dates 14 calendar days from date of submission for standard/routine requests. Providers are advised that with shortened timeframes for completion of medical necessity reviews, it will be important to ensure that all necessary and pertinent clinical information/documentation is submitted with prior authorization requests.
