Alliance Health Named One of TBJ’s Best Places to Work

Alliance Health has been recognized by the Triangle Business Journal as one of its 2026 Best Places to Work. This year’s winners reflect the Triangle’s wide array of companies that are putting workplace culture at the forefront of business. The group includes firms dealing in finance, law, construction, real estate, life sciences and professional services among other industries. Alliance is the only public sector organization to be recognized.

Alliance’s Tailored Plan manages all the health care needs – physical, behavioral and pharmacy – for people with complex mental illnesses, substance use disorders, and long-term care needs including intellectual/developmental disability and traumatic brain injury. Working with a network of more than 4,000 private providers, Alliance has responsibility for 464,000 Medicaid-eligible and uninsured individuals among a population of over 3.5 million North Carolinians across seven counties, including the state’s two most populous.

Best Places to Work winners were chosen based on an employee-survey process conducted by an independent firm. Alliance’s survey results reflected a high percentage of highly engaged staff who consistently pointed to a supportive work environment, strong organizational commitment to mission, collaborative teams, and confidence in senior leadership’s long-term direction.

Alliance will be honored along with the other winners on August 20 at an awards luncheon at the Raleigh Marriott Crabtree Valley.
