We offer health plans for North Carolina residents in Cumberland, Durham, Harnett, Johnston, Orange, Mecklenburg and Wake counties for Tailored Plan members, state-funded recipients, and Medicaid Direct beneficiaries. Tailored Plan Members
Tailored Plan members are people with Medicaid enrolled in a type of managed care health plan that provides integrated physical health, pharmacy, behavioral health, intellectual/developmental disability (I/DD) and traumatic brain injury (TBI) services.
State-funded Recipients
Tailored Plan state-funded recipients are people receiving Tailored Plan services that do not have insurance or who need services that are not available to them in their health plans. State-funded services are services for mental health, intellectual or developmental disability (I/DD), traumatic brain injury (TBI) and substance use disorders that are funded by the state or federal government outside of Medicaid.
Medicaid Direct Beneficiaries
Medicaid Direct beneficiaries are people who have Medicaid and began receiving services in a new way called "NC Medicaid Managed Care." Beneficiaries choose a health plan and get care through a health plan's network of doctors.
