Join us for Substance Abuse and Integrated Care, a View from Within: Considerations for Behavioral Health Providers, an interactive live webinar on February 7 from 9:00 AM – 1:15 PM. With the growing interest in comprehensive treatment in medical settings, particularly in light of the current spotlight on addiction and mental health, it is imperative that behavioral health providers understand and can advocate for integration of medical and behavioral health care. The treatment of addiction can be improved by involving medical care providers to prevent and manage physical health concerns. Through didactic discussion including insight from providers and case presentations this program will shed light on the clinical aspects of integrated care as well as the interpersonal and logistical challenges inherent in implementation of the model. The program will have a clinical focus, and is not intended to address financial issues such as funding or billing.
