Expanded BHUC Opens in Harnett County

Alliance Health has partnered with Daymark Recovery Services and Good Hope Hospital on the expansion of the Harnett Behavioral Health Urgent Care (BHUC).

Daymark opened Harnett County’s first behavioral health urgent care – a 24/7/365 walk-in, crisis-focused service – in February 2025 on the Good Hope campus with financial support from Alliance, Good Hope and Harnett County Government. BHUCs provide rapid assessment of a person’s situation, medical screening and care, and referrals for follow-up services, and are proven to reduce unnecessary trips to the emergency room, hospitalizations and incarcerations.

Beginning May 4, the BHUC will transition to a renovated space on the Good Hope campus with capacity to serve up to 12 adults and 2 children, representing a significant expansion of behavioral health crisis services in the region.

The facility is located at 410 Denim Drive in Erwin.
