Alliance Names Thomas Chief Operating Officer

Alliance Health has selected Tammy Thomas as its new chief operating officer. She replaces Sean Schreiber, who recently transitioned to a newly created position as chief of innovation and strategy.

As COO and a member of the Alliance executive leadership team, Thomas will assume responsibility for advancing integrated strategies that strengthen organizational performance, improve provider and member experiences, and support sustainable, value-based service delivery.

Thomas, who holds an MBA, Six Sigma Black Belt, Project Management Professional, and Change Management Professional certifications, joined Alliance as a project manager in 2015 and quickly rose through the ranks, being promoted to director and then senior director of the Project Portfolio Management Office. Since 2021 she has served Alliance as senior vice president of business evolution, where she is recognized for a thoughtful and results-driven style with the ability to align teams, strengthen performance, and lead through complexity. Her orderly approach, sound judgment, and focus on continuous improvement position her well to support the organization’s continued growth and impact.
