NC Direct Care Worker Wage and Rate Analysis
NCDHHS and the North Carolina Center on the Workforce for Health are launching a statewide analysis to understand direct care workforce challenges, assess current reimbursement rates, and shape future workforce strategies. There will be a confidential provider survey released as part of this analysis. The survey will launch on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, and close on Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2026 at 5:00 p.m.
Provider participation, while voluntary, is essential to ensure meaningful results. Two orientation webinars are offered for more information on Friday, July 31, 2026 from 10:00-12:00 p.m. and Monday, Aug. 3 from 3:00-5:00 p.m. The sessions will feature a survey overview and walkthrough for all provider types.
