Adjusted Authorization Guidelines Effective August 1

Effective August 1, 2026, to more closely align with prior authorization limits in place prior to the implementation of Parity, Alliance Health is adjusting several authorization guidelines listed on the Prior Authorization Table. Services for which updates to the prior authorization guidelines will occur are Community Support Team (CST), Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACTT) and Clinically Managed Residential Service (previously Substance Abuse Non-Medical Community Residential Treatment-ASAM Level 3.5)- specifically service code H0012 HB (Adult). Please refer to the Prior Authorization Table for details around the authorization parameters.
