Updated NC-TOPPS Initial Interview Submission Guidelines
NC-TOPPS has updated the guidelines regarding when Initial NC-TOPPS interviews must be submitted. View the updated guidelines.
The new requirement states: “An Initial Interview must be completed with the consumer in an in-person interview within 30 days of the consumer beginning their current episode of care as part of the development of the consumer’s treatment plan.”
This change does not affect the due dates for Update Interviews (3-month, 6-month, 12-month, and biannual interviews). Due dates for Update Interviews will continue to be calculated based on the date the Initial NC-TOPPS interview is submitted.
