Alliance Partners to Bring Behavioral Health Treatment to Youth in Detention Center

Alliance Health is proud to announce the grand opening of the PIVOT enhanced behavioral youth unit at C.A. Dillon Regional Juvenile Detention Center in Butner. This new unit will serve youth who are referred from other juvenile detention and youth development centers, providing robust crisis intervention and stabilization services to help move youth towards restoration and rehabilitation. Alliance worked closely with New Hope Treatment Centers and the Department of Public Safety to advocate for and develop this critical program for youth with complex needs, including working with the Department of Health and Human Services to secure funding. Alliance will provide limited project management and oversight as part of the ongoing partnership.

“Our Alliance team led the way in developing a model to provide behavioral health care to youth in our juvenile justice system and has worked tirelessly with our partners, New Hope, DHHS and DPS, to make this program a reality,” said Alliance Health Chief Innovation and Strategy Officer Sean Schreiber. “It serves as another component in our comprehensive system focused on  providing necessary behavioral health supports to youth, including  trauma-informed assessments and intervention.”
