NCDHHS Bulletin: Electronic Visit Verification Home Health Services Taxonomy and Bill Type Information
NC DHHS has released the following bulletin regarding EVV home health services taxonomy and bill type information.
Only Home Health Services (HHS) provided with Taxonomy 251E00000X and Bill Types starting with 32 or 34 will be treated as Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) services by the Encounter Processing System (EPS). The Claim type for Home Health will be set to ‘H’. See the chart in the bulletin for the detailed combinations of Taxonomy and Taxonomy Qualifier code and Bill Types.
All Home Health Services that do not meet these combinations noted in the bulletin will be treated as non-EVV applicable services.
