Alliance Health encourages providers to submit claims as promptly as possible. Once the contracts information is active in ACS (our claims processing system), claims can be received from providers for processing. If there are delays with authorizations, we advise providers to still submit their claims in accordance with our timely filing parameters. Should claims deny because they process before an authorization is active in the system, the claim can be reprocessed by Alliance Health once the authorization is active (with no duplicate claim submission required). It is important that providers submit claims as services occur and avoid holding claims, as timely filing parameters are applied to all claim submissions.
