Mental Health First Aid is an 8-hour course that teaches participants how to recognize the risk factors and warning signs of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, psychosis, eating disorders, substance use disorders, and self-injury.
The training teaches the skills and knowledge to help connect individuals experiencing a crisis with professional care. MHFA is an interactive training, which can be offered in one eight-hour or two four-hour sessions. Requires a minimum of 10 participants.
