Alliance Rates for Medicaid BH Services
Taxonomy Verification In preparation for Medicaid Direct and the Tailored Plan launch on July 1, 2024, Alliance will reimburse services provided according to the taxonomy billed for Medicaid and State services. Under the Tailored Plan, Alliance will only be able to maintain separate rates for behavioral health services when there is an applicable psychiatric taxonomy to apply in our claims system. These rates may be higher than the DHB rates. Please take note of the changes being implemented. Beginning May 1, 2024, due to the implementation of the Jiva Provider Portal, Alliance Health will accept behavioral health retrospective requests for services that will be reviewed for medical necessity for dates of service 5/1/2024 through 6/30/2024.
