SR-AHEC Training Announcement: Trauma Informed Care - CEUs Offered

This free live webinar is designed for providers (mental health clinicians, substance use clinicians, case managers, healthcare workers, peer support specialists, etc.) who seek to enhance their understanding of the role of trauma in the lives of their clients. Research and clinical evidence in physical and mental healthcare indicate that trauma plays a role in clients’ ability to fully engage in services, and that trauma informed service environments could foster this engagement and improve outcomes. Increased understanding of the prevalence and nature of trauma, the utility of trauma informed approaches, and the ways to link patients to evidence based mental health supports are important tools.
