Person-Centered Planning Update
On December 13, 2022, Joint Communication Bulletin #J440: Person-Centered Planning Training announced the Person-Centered Planning Training Project. On March 9, 2023, Joint Communication Bulletin #J445 announced that effective June 1, 2023, the utilization review process should be updated to incorporate PCP guidance and that providers could start using the new PCP guidance and templates, and that effective October 2, 2023, the new PCP guidance is required for providers and the utilization review process. PCPs that are completed prior to October 2, 2023, are not required to be updated to the new template until the PCP is updated.
