Alliance would like to remind current (b)(3) Peer Support Providers that the NCDHHS made some changes to the (b)(3) Peer Support services to include: “Requiring Peer Support to be provided by NC Certified Peer Support Specialists.” This requirement was identified in the CMS approval North Carolina’s 1915(b) Waiver and Concurrent 1915(c) Innovations Waiver and was effective on July 1, 2019.
