Care for Minors

Medicaid beneficiaries under age 21 can get screening, diagnostic, and treatment services that are needed to improve or maintain their health even if the requested service is not covered under Medicaid. This means children under age 21 can get services over their benefit limits or even if the service is no longer covered under Medicaid.

Each service request is reviewed to see if it meets the criteria. To request a service, email a complete Non-Covered State Medicaid Plan Services Request Form for Recipients Under the Age of 21 to the Alliance Health Utilization Management Department at [email protected].

For more information, call Member and Recipient Services at 800-510-9132 Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Priority Care for Pregnant Women
